Classes - What to Expect

Gentle and Restorative

Relaxation and healthy breathing are antidotes to the stress of our fast-paced world. Renew and restore mentally and physically in our Restorative & Gentle class. Practice poses (asanas) that foster gentle, functional movement and physical and mental awareness. Expect relaxing poses supported by yoga props such as bolsters and blankets.

This class is perfect for:

  • Beginning students looking to ease into yoga.

  • Practitioners of any level looking to relieve stress and calm their minds.

Basics

The foundation of any yoga practice is alignment in standing postures, and this is what we emphasize in our Yoga Basics class. This class focuses on poses that foster healthy functional movement and physical and mental awareness that will most certainly carry over into daily life. Expect simpler transitions between poses and some beginner pointers. Our Gentle Basics class is simply a gentler version of this format. 

This class is perfect for:

  • Beginning students looking to build and grow their yoga practice.

  • Anyone seeking self-understanding.
